Integrated Leadership Programme
In 2009-10, we designed and delivered a three-level leadership programme for YouGov staff ranging from MD to line managers, integrating workshops, action learning and a mentoring scheme to create a six-month programme. Three groups of leaders met once a month for workshops and once a month for action learning, with a mentoring scheme provding extra impetus.
Workshops included: Introduction to Management and Leadership, Performance Mangement, Managing Learning, Managing Projects, Managing Change, and Innovation, Creativity and Problem Solving. The action learning sets, scheduled two weeks after each module, allowed the participants to discuss their progress in putting learning into practice, and embed the learning.
The programme was a resounding success, and in 2012 360 were asked to deliver a version of the programme to managers who joined YouGov in the interim, as well as providing a variety of Personal Development workshops to YouGov staff at all levels.
